INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Funguss-Metarhizium SC is a microbiological insecticide based on Metarhizium anisopliae, an entomopathogenic fungus whose mode of action begins with contact. After application of Funguss-Metarhizium SC, the structures of the M. anisopliae fungus adhere to the insect and, under ideal temperature and relative humidity conditions, begin their germination. Consequently, a variety of enzymes that act in the degradation of the insect’s integument allow the fungus to penetrate its host and continue its development, leading to the insect’s death. After this stage, colonization of the insect’s outer surface begins, with a layer of green, grayish, or whitish conidia commonly observed covering the insect.
